Cloakware today announced availability of the company's software security solutions to the Apple developer community. Cloakware's tools improve time-to-market for third-party developers seeking to protect applications against tampering and reverse engineering. Representatives from Cloakware will be attending the Apple Worldwide Developer's Conference 2008 in San Francisco, Calif., June 9-13.

Cloakware's software security tools improve time-to-market for third-party developers by enabling developers to deploy their products quickly and securely without having to develop their own proprietary security techniques. Cloakware Security Suite now supports Mac(R) OS X 10.3, 10.4, 10.5 and the iPhone(TM)/iPod(R) touch platforms. In addition, to secure applications and devices that access licensed audio or video content, Cloakware's pre-packaged robust DRM solutions support all major content protection standards including DTCP-IP, OMA and WMDRM, as well as many emerging and proprietary DRM systems, allowing developers to quickly fulfill the most stringent content protection licensing requirements.

"Our trusted software security solution for Apple developers offers the best protection for proprietary data and intellectual property," said David Canellos, COO and President of Cloakware. "We have a proven track record of helping developers protect their works on Mac platforms, and we can now extend this capability to the iPhone community as well. To date we have secured over one billion applications currently deployed on computers, home entertainment systems, mobile phones and portable media players worldwide."
