FaceBreak has been updated to fully support FaceTime calling over 3G on iOS 4.1.

Enable FaceTime over 3G ! With 1 click and no setup, you can get FaceTime running over 3G and use it anywhere you want. No more looking up for nearby WiFi connection to use FaceTime. - Just install and Respring. FaceTime will now also work when on 3G!

You can purchase FaceBreak from the Cydia Store for $1.49.

The scene has become greedy, the best way is not to support these is simply not buying and not recommending them to anyone! Also good way to fight back is to release free alternatives...

It's true that a lot of formerly free apps in the JB community are now paid apps, but a lot of that has to do with getting the paid system in place. Originally, there was no method for people to charge for their jailbroken-only apps. But just like the Apple app store has free apps, so does Cydia, and some of them are also really great apps, (and tweaks). I'm not sure why developers of apps shouldn't charge for them. Some of the work involved is very extensive and could only be done if this was a significant job for the developer (as well as an investment in cash for some as well). Like anything else, there are apps that are overpriced, but for the most part they're all pretty cheap. And of course even without the paid apps, there are plenty of reasons to still jailbreak, but I'd encourage you to take a look at the paid apps and consider whether the developer's work has resulted in something that is worth the price to you and if so contributing to the cost of their efforts.

Paid... If you have wifi enabled but not connected to any network it will work. Although this worked with the previous version which i thought this latest one would fix.

YOU ARE RIGHT! Enable Wifi, if your phone has already found a wifi signal, click on it, and make it "Forget this network". GOOD FIND! Thanks tonnes!

Just make sure wifi is turned on , but you don't need to associate with any SSID.

This WiFi "solution" also was working for the 1.1.3 version I thought 1.1.5 would fix that! It feels like a scam that the developer says its working on 4.1, but actually it's not! And i use facebreak most when i am at home....so the i have to disconnect everytime from my network, and after using facebreak i have to retype my password.... :(

Why would anyone use this when they can get 3g unrestrictor or My3G cracked FREE and they cover all your apps - not just Facetime. You just have to find the right repo
