A Methuen, Massachusetts man accused of stealing 330 iPhones with a former co-worker turned himself in yesterday after fighting extradition for nearly two months, according to the Eagle Tribune.

"Garrard was arrested March 25 at his Methuen home on charges of teaming up with a co-worker at the Apple Store at the Mall at Rockingham Park to steal hundreds of the popular computer phones and resell them."

"Garrard and Christopher Nashed, 22, of Sandown are facing single felony theft charges. The two men planned on reselling the phones to a single buyer for a $138,600 profit."

"Store managers first reported the iPhones missing after an audit revealed they never had been purchased through its registers. Store security footage also recorded Garrard and Nashed removing boxes of the phones after the store had closed on Dec. 22."

"Police also obtained security camera footage from a FedEx Kinko's office in Peabody, Mass., which showed Garrard and Nashed handing the boxes over to the buyer and another man on Christmas Eve, according to a police affidavit. Bank records showed the money was wired to the men's bank accounts."

"A buyer who had purchased 700 iPhones from the two men before had agreed to pay $420 per phone, the affidavit said."
