IGG Software announces iBank 3.1, the latest upgrade to its flagship application for personal and small business finance management. This new release, free to existing iBank 3 users, is available for download at www.iggsoftware.com.

— Among the most important changes in the iBank 3.1 upgrade is the ability to preview direct downloads for matching transactions; users are alerted if a duplicate transaction has already been imported to iBank, or advised to proceed when no matching transaction is found.

— iBank’s internal browser, which allows users to log in to online accounts without leaving the application, has been enhanced with improved page loading and more banks’ websites available to users.

— Further updates in iBank 3.1 include: improved Smart Accounts; improved capital gains reports; improved forecasting; improved importing of OFX files with non-U.S. characters; improved loading of historical prices when multiple securities are selected; and minor improvements to localization and printing transactions, as well as over a dozen other updates, changes and fixes. iBank 3 was announced in January at Macworld 2008.

All new for OS 10.5, iBank 3 offers features such as automatic account downloads, interactive graphs powered by Core Animation, loan management, and syncing capability from an iPhone or iPod Touch. With a rapidly expanding user base and an active community in iBank’s online forums, IGG has been responding to customer feedback in a regular series of updates. “Of all the things that make iBank successful,” says IGG’s president, Ian Gillespie, “nothing is more important than listening to our users.”

iBank customers who purchased a retail copy of version 2 after January 14, 2008, may use their receipts to qualify for a free upgrade to iBank 3. All applications from IGG Software are available as free, downloadable trial versions, and come with a 30-
day money-back guarantee after purchase.
