Fitness App That Learns as You Work Out

Elite Fitness Expert and Celebrity Trainer Michael George announced the release of the Intelitrainer, his new app for the Apple iPhone, iPod, and iPad. The Intelitrainer creates a customized workout routine which adjusts specifically to the skill level and fitness goals of the user. "It's like having a personal trainer or me in your pocket," Michael George explains.

"The Intelitrainer is unique from other apps in several ways," Michael George points out. "Not only does it create a fresh, custom routine tailored to the individual user each time he or she works out with it, but it also gives you a number of exercises not seen in any other application." The application's extensive database includes Michael George's "2-in-1" and other specialty, multi-purpose exercises which he created through years of personal training experience and extensive education - the same exact exercises Michael has been using for years to sculpt his A-list Celebrities' bodies fast!

Along with varying the exercises each time the user works out with the application, the software learns about the user's strengths and weaknesses based upon feedback provided during workouts. From that information the application will customize future workouts to keep them challenging but not overly difficult unless the user chooses to make the routines harder.

"You want the exercise to challenge the user just to the point of failure. That will give you the most benefit in the shortest amount of time," Michael notes. The technology behind the application is designed to reach this point based upon the user's feedback.

The Intelitrainer is designed for men and women of all fitness levels. As such, it provides a wide variety of exercises, all of which have professional video demonstrations and detailed text explanations.

"I love the descriptions, and the videos help tremendously," explains Calvin Pura, one of the first users of the Intelitrainer.

The range of exercises the Intelitrainer uses is enormous and includes free weights, cables, machines, weighted balls, Swiss ball, Bosu ball, bands, and ankle weights as just a few examples. The Intelitrainer allows users to select which equipment is available to them and the application will limit its selections accordingly. "The equipment feature is great. The application feels very personal and customizable," said Pura.

Not only can the user ask the Intelitrainer to build a workout for him or her, but users can create their own specific workout or save a workout built by the application for future use. For example, one can create a short weekday lunchtime or end of the day routine, and save longer workouts for the weekend. Exercises are organized by muscle group, and include traditional exercises, stretches, Yoga poses along with Michael George's proprietary CORE, balance and plyometric exercises.

Michael George has transformed some of Hollywood's most dynamic A-list celebrities such as Reese Witherspoon, Toby Maguire, Julianne Moore, James Spader, Meg Ryan, Christian Slater, Sela Ward, Matt Dillon, Slash, Dennis Quaid and even professional athletes, like boxer Fernando Vargas. He has had numerous national television appearances, including as a featured guest on ABC's "The View" and Good Morning America.
