Independent developer Daniel Wetzel has announced the release and immediate availability of News Wall 1.0 for iPad and iPhone. News Wall's user interface was designed to optimize the amount of information the user can consume. Instead of navigating through lists and folders, RSS feeds are used to build a virtual wall of articles. To keep track of all articles, the user can shrink single feeds, dim read articles or show images embedded in the feeds.

The app supports several tools for sharing and saving articles. News can be sent to Instapaper and Read It Later. They also can be sent to Twitter supporting URL shortening. Sending news as e-mail is included as well. The app uses RSS feed subscriptions. After entering the address of a webpage only, most often the feed is discovered automatically. Beyond that, the integrated feed browser makes it easy to find feeds and subscribe to them.

News Wall supports multitasking and Fast App Switching.

Feature Overview:
* Read and manage RSS news feeds
* Easy and beautiful user interface optimized for skimming and fast reading
* Auto-discovery of feed addresses, integrated feed browser to find feeds
* Instapaper support, unlimited amount of accounts
* Read It Late support, unlimited amount of accounts
* Twitter support (including bit.ly), unlimited amount of accounts
