Facebook is bringing back Creator Studio as a standalone AI-powered app designed to help creators grow on Facebook. Announced Wednesday, the new app is being tested with a small group of creators and integrates Facebook's recently launched AI creator assistant throughout the app.

Built to minimize distractions inside Facebook, Creator Studio surfaces the insights, recommendations, and daily priorities that matter most in a dedicated workspace. The assistant provides personalized guidance based on a creator's content, voice, audience, and goals, answering questions such as "When should I post?" or "What are people saying in my comments?" It can also brainstorm new content ideas, answer follow-up questions about changes in a creator's audience, and suggest ways to increase reach, engagement, and earnings.

Creators will also get an AI-powered comment tool that highlights the most important comments and drafts replies in their own tone. Those responses can be edited and approved before they're published. Each time the app is opened, it presents a summary of daily priorities, including the latest post's performance, progress toward goals, and comments that need attention. Additional insights, tailored recommendations, and trends within a creator's content niche are also available.

Facebook is also redesigning its creator tools across the app and desktop. Over the next few months, Professional Dashboard will be split into separate Creator Dashboard and Business Dashboard experiences, with Creator Dashboard continuing to serve as the home for the full creator toolset and detailed analytics. Creator tools from Meta Business Suite will also be consolidated into the web experience, which recently added a content calendar for visual planning and scheduling, bulk video uploads, and advanced insights, with more features planned.

The announcement continues Meta's recent push toward standalone experiences. In April, the company launched Instants, an app for sharing disappearing photos with close friends on Instagram.

For now, Creator Studio is available only to a small community of creators while Meta continues refining the experience ahead of a broader rollout. Interested creators can join the waitlist for early access, and existing Creator Studio notifications will remain active during the transition.
