Apple Lets You Hear the Music Behind Its AirPods Pro 3 Ad Starring Vini Jr. [Video]

Apple has released an extended "Music Edit" version of its AirPods Pro 3 commercial starring Vini Jr., offering a new perspective on the campaign that debuted earlier this month as the 2026 FIFA World Cup got underway.

The original ad followed Vini Jr. dancing through a hotel and busy city streets while completely immersed in the music playing through his AirPods. Unaware of the sounds and activity around him, the Real Madrid and Brazil national team star moves through crowded environments as the commercial highlights the earbuds' Active Noise Cancellation capabilities.


The new two-minute music edit shifts the focus from the world around Vini Jr. to the soundtrack he is hearing. Rather than emphasizing the contrast between the music and the surrounding environment, the extended version lets viewers listen to the full track that accompanies his journey through the city: "Illegal Hit (Edit)" by Yttling Jazz, Joshua Idehen, Saturday, Monday.

Apple says AirPods Pro 3 feature the world's best in-ear Active Noise Cancellation, reducing up to twice as much background noise as AirPods Pro 2. The earbuds also feature an H2 chip, a built-in heart rate sensor, clinical-grade hearing test capabilities, and support for Live Translation.

Customers interested in picking up a pair can currently find AirPods Pro 3 on sale for $179.99 at Amazon, just above the record-low $169 price briefly seen earlier this month.
