Spirit Jailbreak for iPad, iPhone, iPod to be Released Tomorrow [Update x2]

Comex has announced that tomorrow he will be releasing his Spirit jailbreak for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch.
wahoofan5: @comex so when's it coming out? At least give a month please comex: @wahoofan5 Friday.
This jailbreak is a userland exploit which will provide an untethered jailbreak for all current devices. We will be posting tutorials on how to perform the jailbreak as soon as it becomes available.

*Update: iHackint0sh reports that chpwn believes comex is very optimistic and he doesn't see Friday as being possible. [Thanks Jim]

THUNDERSTORM!!!! smells like THUNDERSTORM!!!! I am tired of this, I will buy a factory unlock and forget about the dev team and their lies and their play... I mean, they show a video were it works, what else they want to do???
This is not like thunderstorm this involves parts of the dev team and is a real jailbreak. There's even a video unlike thundergarbage. He said on his twitter that he was just offhandedly responding friday and it wasn't meant to be a commitement date. He then said it'll be a couple more days and that he'll commit to. So just be patient.
He just posted on twitter he is NOT releasing tomorrow.Too much drama he says.
This may have been a stunt to get people to start watching them more closely
when i turn on my 3gs iphone it shows usb connected with itunes n there is lock sign above it happen when i updated a new version 3.1.3 with baseband 05.12.01 on my iphone from itunes. now i m stuck in emergency slide screen. can you tell me what i need to do first jailbreak or unlock n this new coming spirit will help me or not?i m waiting for ur response..
if you don't have original AT&T sim card, the only way is downgrade your iPhone 3GS to 3.1.2 and hacktivate it.

how can i downgrade because i cannot do anything now with iphone . i told you is shows a usb connected with itunes and there is lock sign above it. it happens when i restore a factory setting from itunes. now i am stuck in emergency slide screen with baseband 05.12.01 version3.1.3(7E18).
@dtube, p0sixninja mentioned on his twitter that "I can almost guarantee an exploit for 3.1.3/3.2 (all devices, and all models!) before the end of the month."
Friday is not just Friday, it's Friday the 30th of April - the iPad 3G release date. It's the most significant Friday pertaining to this topic in a several month period. I AM going to hold my breath starting right.... NOW
Spirit will be released tomorrow. It doesn't matter if it will last through the 4.0 update because you can bet there will be more exploits and bootrom jailbreaks. This is what hackers like @geohot live for.

Blowing an exploit before 4.0 release is questionable .... Unless the latest 4.0 beta corrected that. Anyway, it should be fun
It may be the jAilbreakers have a plan. Some exploits only work if the device has been jailbroken before. Maybe the sprit jailbreak is to get 3.1.3 and the ipad 3.2 User jailbroken. So when the 4.0 is released and most likely it uses a different exploit those user can use the 4.0 jailbreak.
