A French 3D modeler called Jpog has admitted to making the iPhone 4G back cover images with 3DS Max, reveals MobileCrunch.
It's likely he used Photoshop to add the grainy spy shot feel to the photos.
While the images have been proven fake many are hopeful that Apple will extend its aluminum design to the iPhone; which would give it a nice solid feel similar to the iPad.
Its too tempting not to play with people, i find this funny.
People wait around excitedly to see any tidbit of iphone 4g information no matter how insignificant... it's a matter of time until somebody laughed at this fact and poked fun.
The fact that he admitted it within a few days proves that he had harmless intent...
Good fun!
Heya Serge, long time no see. This is a story which I have been following for quite a while. Yes this all true, Pathfinder is kincikg the stuffing out of 4.0 That abomination was Wizard's sad attempt to make the game appealing to the WoW generation. Unfortunately it did neither that nor appeal to longtime table-top gamers. I played 4.0 and it was garbage. I've played Pathfinder and while I am partial to 2.5 myself Pathfinder is a very good adaption. I am actually going to be attending a Pathfinder table in a few weeks. I'm looking forward to it. Wizards did realize their monumental gaffe and are (at least overtly) trying to appeal to seasoned gamers for 5.0. I am waiting to see what happens with this new edition. Pathfinder is essentially the gamers which Wizards lost. I don't think that it is going to work. It is sad to say, but TSR might finally be dead. Hasbro, ultimately, has the money, but will they give it to Wizards. Wizards is going to have to make a full-court press effort to get these people back. I worked for Hasbro and met some of the old TSR designers, I think that they would not want to see the mantle lost. Still though money always rules the day. We shall see.
