iPhone 4G Aluminum Back Photos Proven Fake

A French 3D modeler called Jpog has admitted to making the iPhone 4G back cover images with 3DS Max, reveals MobileCrunch.

It's likely he used Photoshop to add the grainy spy shot feel to the photos.


While the images have been proven fake many are hopeful that Apple will extend its aluminum design to the iPhone; which would give it a nice solid feel similar to the iPad.

Its too tempting not to play with people, i find this funny. People wait around excitedly to see any tidbit of iphone 4g information no matter how insignificant... it's a matter of time until somebody laughed at this fact and poked fun. The fact that he admitted it within a few days proves that he had harmless intent... Good fun!
