Flurry has estimated early sales numbers for the Nexus One compared to Motorola Droid and the first generation iPhone.
The chart below compares the sales results through each of their respective first 74 days. The launch dates were: iPhone, June 29, 2007; Droid, November 5, 2009; and, Nexus One, January 5, 2010. Flurry forecasted the last few days of Nexus One's first 74 days sales based sales of the first 70 days tracked.
The Droid and the iPhone bested the Nexus One by roughly 8 times with the Nexus One only selling .135 million in comparison to 1 million for the other devices.
Interestingly the Droid bested the iPhone by an extra .05 million. Flurry suggests that this could be due to more receptive consumer perception & demand, a larger subscriber base, a holiday launch window, and a large advertising campaign.
