Hi again - from Costa Rica facing the new 8-digit problem Yesterday I updated my firmware to 1.1.4. Installed the AppSupport patch, but faced the same problem. We would really appreciate if you could also update the patch for 1.1.4 as well. Thanks a lot!

Hello. I'm from Costa Rica and facing the same problem Esteban has. It's all because of the new 8 digit numbers. Before the change, AppSupport 1.1.3 worked like a charm! It would be great if the patch could be updated. Thanks!

Hi I am from Costa Rica (iPhone on firmware 1.1.3) Recently (on March 22), our carrier added an extra digit to all numbers. Im not having problems with the phone´s callerID, however when I receive SMS from people who are my contacts, it seems the iphone does not recognize it, and displays it as +506XXXXXXXX (example: +506-8888-7890) In the past (when there where only 7 digits) I had the same problem, but I installed the AppSupport 1.1.3, and it was fixed!. Now I uninstall it and then reinstall it, but I have no success fixing the sms number. Is there a way to update the AppSupport 1.1.3 file including one additional digit for Costa Rica? Thanks

iphone sg is right, i faced the same prob but the good news is...forget abt the SMS, install iSMS instead. There are many features with iSMS and it is not affected by the appsupport 1.1.3.patch. Get iSMS from source http://iphone.nonsoft.com/repo/

i'm having the same problem quite a few people are having. i get SMS without the ID of the caller/sender. My phone doesn't have a problem what crashing from dialer even though i haven't installed this (dominica). my problem was an issue i had with ziphone where i had to use 2 different versions of ziphone (upgraded to 1.1.4 - accident -> tried ziphone to unlock/jb - didn't work -> tried to downgrade to 1.1.3 -> couldn't change the firmware -> used 2.5 ziphone to jb/activate 1.1.3 -> used 2.4 ziphone to unlock/jb/activate iphone) and so i don't know what to do and what would be safe as in all that took a very long time to accomplish. any ideas on what i can do to get the SMS and ID tags to match up ???

iClarified: Help please! I have installed the Build11 AppSupport with the Regional Format Patch and found out that the SMS contact name matches on my contact list. BUT i found out that when a PCCW (One of many Hong kong Carrier's) user sends me a message, i get 852XXXXXXXX instead of the contact name. All other carrier's are fine except PCCW. Is there a way i can edit the PhoneNumberTemplates for PCCW so that it can match? In the PhoneNumberTemplates hong kong has: hk 852 001;009;0080; - - ######## And here is the AppSupport1.1.2 that worked for me before: hk 852 00 - 0 8 <-PCCW hk 852 00 0 3 8 hk 852 40 0 0 8 hk 852 50 0 0 8 hk 852 70 0 0 8 hk 852 90 0 0 8 How can i edit the PhoneNumberTemplates to the 'PCCW' so that they match? I tried: hk 852 001;009;0080;00038 - - ######## hk 852 001;009;0080; - -;3 ######## But it didn't work. Any ideas?/Suggestions? I'm sure i'm doing something wrong here. Help please
