Apple has begun selling a 32-inch Sharp 4K monitor in its European Online Stores.

The Sharp 32" PN-K321 - 4K Ultra HD LED Monitor features a 32-inch class (31.5-inch diagonal) screen size, 3840 x 2160 high definition resolution and energy efficient edge-lit LED backlight.

This super-high resolution display allows you to view the content of four full HD screens on a single seamless display. It also features IGZO technology, which supports increased pixel transparency and reduced current leakage, thereby making the monitor more energy efficient.

Highlights:
● 32-inch class (31.5-inch diagonal) screen size
● Ultra-high definition LED display
● 1.07-billion colour palette
● 350 cd/m2 brightness; 800:1 contrast ratio
● Built-in 2W per channel stereo audio system
● Landscape- and portrait-mode compatible
● View the content of four full HD screens on a single seamless display

Customers who are planning to purchase Apple's new Mac Pro will be able to use this device with the professional desktop. The monitor accepts DisplayPort input; however, you'll need an adapter from Mini-DisplayPort. In the U.K. the price is set at £3,499.00.

It's unclear if Apple plans to make the Sharp monitor available in the U.S. or when it will release a 4K monitor of its own. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.

Just a thought... Has anybody noticed how furiously fandroids raid Apple websites and spam the heck out of them? Well, a recent study shows that 92% of them had only enough money to buy a pitiful droid device, like Galaxy Young. This gives them an extremely bad user experience and causes them an immense frustration. So, 83% of them take all that rage out on websites featuring products they'll never be able to afford, like iPhones, iPads, etc.

Appple at least now realized that selling other brands (good quality ones ) is the only way to survive apart from suing companies and taking their hard earned money. What a shame !!!!

hey i remember when the first HiDef TV came out we all went to see it at circuit city and we where amazed, it wasn't 1080 but still was something out of this world and it was $12,000 but a 46 inch TV so $5,000 believe me people will buy there are always fools out there but they creat demand and that causes the prices to drop and the movies to be made.

WE DONT CARRRRE!! WE WANT A JAILBREAK! What the happened to the Jailbreak anymore???

YEAH MAN. There is nothing wrong with the jailbreak its actually moving faster then i accepted, i was sure that finding a way to get in would be hard because it was getting harder and harder every time especially after Steve Jobs died and Apple declared war on jailbreaking but actually iOS 7 made it easier because its like starting from the beginning ( beside the SHSH blobs ), any way there are still a few reasons why the jailbreak is not out: they are rewriting Cydia to look and work with iOS7 but also keep the old Cydia for older iOS which some devices like the iPad 1 and the iphone 3GS are an example, another reason is for the new iPhone 5C/S and the new iPad Air/mini2 are distribute all around the globe ( like i just got the iPad Air last night because it just arrived in my country ) and Apple just started making a killing in China and i understand that you don't care but for the last jailbreak ( iOS 6 ) Cydia paid $30 millions to the evader team and they will have to pay again so the more customers the more Cydia makes money! AND THAT MY FRIEND IS WHY WE WAIT. Ps: one last thing, they need to test it in every country on every sim ( Cell provider ) and every device.

I know what you mean about people making a fool of themselves so i do understand you but even on the iPhone Apple uses Samsung screens so when they say Apple is selling the Sharp Monitors it makes what i wrote kind of make sense.

Ok but that would do nothing for the AppleTV if they ever come out with it? It would just be a sad attempt for Apple and people would hate on it... you know that right?

Yes i do, i saw windows 8 on a 4K screen and the windows OS looked really funny on it because it made everything really tiny and the same would happened to my Apple TV if i connected it to a 4K screen. As i see it right now the world is not ready for that kind of a screen 1080 works for me.
