Leaked iPhone 5S Display Assembly Appears to Match Previously Leaked Logic Board

Posted June 17, 2013 at 9:26pm by iClarified
A newly leaked iPhone 5S display assembly appears to match up with a leaked logic board from earlier today, reports MacRumors.

The site received the images of the display assembly from several repair firms including iHeart Repair. Notably, the align with images leaked by Moumantai.

On the iPhone 5 display assembly, both flex cable connectors are oriented horizontally and correspond to horizontal connectors on the device's logic board. On this iPhone 5S part, one connector is oriented vertically and the other horizontally. This corresponds to the logic board seen in the photos earlier today, with a vertical connector near the top inside edge of the board and a horizontal one along the top edge.

Apple is not expected to make any major external changes to the iPhone 5S; however, it does appear that some internal changes are going to made. The rumored device is expected to get a better camera, a fingerprint scanner, and of course a faster processor.

Take a look at the images below...

Try installing IOS 7 on a formated, fresh iDevice. Wipe all the content you kids like to compile on your device before you complain about the battery life. with all the stuff you have on your phone, I'm surprised the iDevice lasts as long as it does.

Does anyone really want a fingerprint scanner? Don't passwords work fine? Will This will be something else the NSA will incorporate into their data base?

Apple should not use the same 3/3S and 4/4S model. It's not working anymore. Galaxy 3 and 4 are not a lot of different. The bigger screen is the key change in appearance. If Apple has a bigger screen (4.5" or 5") on the exact same appearance , they can already call it iPhone 6. With the new iOS7, it looks better. I like to continue use iPhone. But I like to have a bigger screen. I hope Apple give us some surprise with a bigger one........

bigger screen makes no sense, what happened to the tendencies of reducing device sizes? why do i want a device that barely fits in my pocket? iphone 5 has the perfect size, want something bigger? get a freaking tablet

It's personal preference. I don't like to Galaxy Note 2 5.5" screen. That's way too big. I am currently using iPhone 5. But I think a 4.5 inch screen iPhone would be nice. It really depends on the design. I think it won't increase a lot in size of 4.5" iPhone when compare to iPhone 5.
