iPhone 6 Concept Features Larger 4.5-Inch Display, No Home Button [Video]

Check out this beautiful rendering of a concept iPhone 6 featuring a larger display, thinner frame, and no home button.

Apple iPhone 6 - new design, thinner, smaller. iPhone 6 is the best iPhone yet.

The display measures 4.5-inches in size and the body is depicted in both black and aluminum colors.

Notably, after meeting with suppliers in Asia, Topeka Capital analyst Brian White believes Apple will release the iPhone 5S in 'at least' two screen sizes.

Update:
This concept was originally claimed by some other than the original creator. It was in fact modeled by Rishi Inamdar who intended the bottom section of the device to be a gesture area.

I'm very confused! We had the large phones when first got cell phones, then everyone went to smaller more compact why are we going back to the larger ones?

they made the screen bigger so that they can keep up with the galaxy s3. they are making a big phone to compete with the sizes of the othere phones.

You guys have got to stop up grading these iPhones a person buys an iPhone 4 and a week later the 4 s comes out. You buy the 4s and weeks later the iPhone 5 comes out now your talking about an iPhone 5s and iPhone 6 and the 5 has not even been out a year.people are gonna stop buying iPhones and go with a standard phone that stays the same . Please stop

This looks like crap.. and in now way is real.. why would apple make the screen wider. if they decide to make a bigger screen iphone it will keep the current aspect ratio.. because it is better and different.. this concept make the iphone look like every other android phone on the market.. in short horrible and it sucks. I will keep my smaller screen thank you very much

where is the home button???... hope there is one atleast put it somewhere maybe on the sides and not make it touch based coz it definitely wont help if an app/ios hangs and need to hard close/reset the the device you wont be able to if there is no home button not the touch based one...

I don't think the technology exists yet to bring the screen so close to the edges of the phone. Would be great if they made it happen though. Also, don't forget that John Ives is in charge of iOS software now, so the icons/layout will definitely change.

If they put the headphone jack on the bottom again with this concept they could put another button on top as the home button. U know like the lock button used to b on the other side, this would allow apple to effectively make this design work. Regarding the home button I think Apple is using all channels to promote this offer in a big way... with Full page ads in all newspapers, TV commercials in all channels & in all FM Radios ;) they just want to sell off all future iphones. May be the have stock more than the demand, and in main countries everyone has one & not much demand. I hope they may announce next gen iPhone soon. I love the no home button concept.

As a previous poster said, what is really going to be created is largely unknown. All that is really known is that although apple put other peoples inventions into one device, they are now so far behind the curve that I am embarassed for those I see holding one of apples boring bits of outdated gear. I would be truly surprised if this arrogant icompany can catch up, both aesthetically and technologically. Unlike Steve Jobs theory, competition is actually good so hopefully apple offers something to advance the smartphone world and not just release another nothing claiming it is something.
