iPad Mini Shipments Expected to Reach 8 Million in 4Q12

Shipments of the iPad mini are expected to reach 8 million in 4Q12, reports DigiTimes.

Taiwan-based makers have prepared 10-12 million iPad mini's worth of components for shipping in the fourth quarter, the sources indicated. However, supplies of touch panels has been insufficient, the sources pointed out. Therefore, only eight million iPad minis are expected to be shipped in the quarter.

It's expected that as yield rates increase, iPad mini shipments could increase to 13 million units for 1Q13.

I can't get over how bad the screen is. If you've used the iPad with retina or even an iPhone you would be shocked at the difference. I feel as f apple is insulting our intelligence and exploiting our loyalty by releasing the mini with such poor resolution.

This is just from the factory to apple store. I dont think 8 million sold from the store. Its baseless article posted. This is just an advertisement of apple to lure more customer for mini. Lol garbage product. I will only take if it is foc.
