Check out this video which purports to show the full assembled 'iPhone 5' for the very first time.

GSM Israel spotted the device inside a case at IFA 2012 in Berlin. The case manufacturer asked that their name not be revealed or shown in the video.

Take a look below and tell us what you think in the comments!

*Earlier this week some thickness and front panel comparison photos surfaced online. Check them out as well.

Fake for two reasons: 1. The screws are standard posi screws and Apple use their own secure screws, why would they go back to screws that people can easily remove. 2. The earphone jack on this phone is obviously made of plastic and Apple ALWAYS make the jacks out of metal so the headphones don't damage the port when inserting them. Would be a stupid design decision. Apple and other companies have been known to release fakes into the wild to throw people off the scent.

Yeah that's right

Leggoman - September 3, 2012 at 10:56pm

And i wont have the next. The 3gs was a great phone, the 4 was not much of an upgrade at all bad signal and sound. And now the 4s well what a bag of crap that is, battery is really bad. Siri don't work in the uk. Fast? Oh is it can you really tell its faster? We will get told how great the new iphone is and when you get it you will see that its just as bad as the others FA

Leggoman - September 3, 2012 at 10:49pm

If its the real deal, its shit. Iv had three iphones now 3gs the 4 and now the 4s

MrLoyyy - September 3, 2012 at 8:40pm

It's a dummy till you turn it on

Taha - September 2, 2012 at 9:19am

So a company like apple with exerience of loosing an iphone in the bar and sending commandos to recover that iphone, Gave away an iphone to a bumper making company? and asked them not to turn it on? and this company to show it to everyone knowing that apple will come after them in few hours and sue them a billion$? very smart gsm Israel

typeface - September 2, 2012 at 8:43am

the typeface on the back is not the same font used for the real iphones and the idevices in general. usually, when someone tried to knockoff an apple product, it's the area that they fail to copy.

Hemanth - September 2, 2012 at 8:25am

Guys the sleep/power button is not there and this is a dummy phone don't worry guys 8 months back apple survey about next generation I phone what we are expecting from our view but we hope we get a new design with lot of new features

foe - September 2, 2012 at 8:12am

New iPhone looks so cool!!!!!!!!I cannot wait!!!!!! I don't care if there are no improvements over 4S because iPhone is the best phone out there and there is not a single phone that comes close!!!!!!!!!

Noman - September 2, 2012 at 6:40am

Apple is a company who firstly invents something and then keeps selling long long time... like the macs there havent been huge new thing since Retina plus the designs of the products havent been changed for ages. Compare MBP, iMac and Mac PRO... when did you see dramaticly big change in theirs design? The thing they do is improve their products from year to another but Apple never updated their products looks like they did with iPhone from v1 to 4 but i guess now they happy with the result and will keep it for while now... only making small adjustment.

Noman - September 2, 2012 at 6:48am

The point been in the fact that for those who are waiting for something totally new they will be dissapointed for sure.

Gus - September 2, 2012 at 6:15am

Hummm. A few months ago everybody were expecting the iPhone 5 and got a 4s... Now is the same thing... I just wait for the keynote and get it when is unlock from factory, all the mockups, copies or ideas and even the Chinese clon are just apple ways to marketing just wait a few days and get the real one

djdjek - September 2, 2012 at 5:17am

Fake or not, I like the look of the device. Simple and elegant.

Raul - September 2, 2012 at 3:51am

Fake.. on the back says Model A1303. A1303 corresponds to theserie of iPhone 3GS

Arvin Patel - September 2, 2012 at 12:03am

This is fake.... if this is iPhone 5, Apple is sinking in hell

Ali - September 2, 2012 at 12:04am

Well this is the overall look of the new iphone

Lee - September 1, 2012 at 9:37pm

Buto - September 1, 2012 at 9:17pm

Yes its real! I just called my friend that works at Apple HQ in Cupertino And she said that it is real! Lol i dont like the taller design but I will still buy it.

Kloquewerk - September 1, 2012 at 9:02pm

A lot of people are commenting on why he didn't turn the phone on...apparently you guys can't listen very well. He specifically says he was asked not to reveal the company who let him check it out and was told NOT to turn it on.

Ali - September 1, 2012 at 9:05pm

Maybe you should take into consideration the fact that he picks up/moves the phone around with such little effort and makes it seem as If the phone is a cardboard cutout then you'd be able to understand why people are skeptical.

Kloquewerk - September 2, 2012 at 3:40am

I was merely commenting towards the people who keep asking why he didn't turn the phone on...

JeffreyLee4Free - September 1, 2012 at 7:26pm

It's a dummy phone for sure. One of the first times he flips over the phone to the front his muscle memory kicks in and he pushes the home button but nothing happens (could be off, why didn't it turn on?). Secondly, the Apple logo has an orange peel effect to it (looks rippled) and we know that's not normal. Thirdly, the bezel does have a plastic, nonmetallic look. Lastly, and the most obvious to me is the way he is handling the phone. It doesn't move the same way a fully functional phone would move. Dummy phones are lighter and they land differently in your hand while your "fondling" them. Flipping an empty dummy phone requires a bit less exertion. Who knows what the "New iPhone" will look like until Apple reveals it. I'm hoping it doesn't look like this but has a complete redesign. I can dream can't I? *_*

Po2345 - September 1, 2012 at 8:19pm

That's not muscle memory. Do you even know what that is?

al - September 1, 2012 at 8:40pm

You are right, is a dummy, if you just look just when he picks it up, you'll notice that is lightweight.

JeffreyLee4Free - September 2, 2012 at 2:09pm

Yes I do know what muscle memory is. However, the majority of people us the term "muscle memory" synonymously with "fine motor memory". My desire was to us a more widely understood term to get my point across. I'm glad someone else knows the difference. It's possible you and I just schooled some people on using the correct term for "motor memory" /high five/ for the public service announcement. P.S. My nutritionist and personal trainer friends are going to be happy this topic was talked about on a "geek/tech/news" site.
