Apple Made Three Versions of the Original iPhone [Video]

Tony Fadell, former Senior Vice President of the iPod Division at Apple, says that the company created three versions of the original iPhone, including one with a hardware keyboard, before deciding on the touchscreen interface.

i wish they re make the original iPhone with new hardware(a6 chip and 8mp camera and so on). i just love the shape of the original iPhone, oh i miss my old one :(

None of the three versions had a keyboard according to Tony. He said that there was a virtual keyboard and the hardware keyboard was only discussed in heated discussions.
