Steve Wozniak: Windows Phone is 'Much More Beautiful' Than Android and iPhone

Posted April 28, 2012 at 2:34pm by iClarified
Steve Wozniak says for looks and beauty he definitely savors Windows Phone 7 over Android in an interview with ANewDomain.

"I'm kind of shocked. Every screen is much more beautiful than the same apps on Android and iPhone," Wozniak told the site, referring to Windows Phone 7.

The Verge notes that He's so impressed by it, in fact, that he defines the experience of using a Windows Phone as feeling like you're "with a friend not a tool." In his mind, navigating Android is a much more cumbersome experience, to the point where he sees "no contest" between that OS and Windows Phone - Microsoft's software is much more to his liking. He even goes on to say that iOS is "more awkward" in its interactions than the Lumia phone he's presently using, though his favorite smartphone still remains the iPhone. The deficit of third-party apps for WP is something he acknowledges as holding that platform back.

iPhone it's a great device, but personaly it's tooooo easy and simple to use.. Sometimes u just wanna go further on having some little hesitate things on hands and give yourself a sort of headache... Je je je.. That's what Windows and Androids phones do...

I've had them all, iPhone (1st Gen, 3G, 3GS, 4), Android (1st Gen, HTCs, Xperia, Google) but when I switched to WMP life couldn't be better. Trust me, if user experience and journey is what a smartphone should be about, nothing beats the WMP....

LOL!!!! Windows phone is in the bottom of the barrel when it comes to OS for smartphones. I'm surprise it's even in the conversation. He should have said RIM's OS was the best!

Wozniak knows his shit. WP is the most awesome by far. Not because of coolness or anything like that it's just better. Windows Phone OS is simply beutiful!

Apple fan boys seem to permanently have their "rose colored lenses" on... Any and every little piece of news or information that is remotely critical or non-positive towards Apple gets slammed, discounted or justified based on "you non-Apple fanboys just don't know..." What happened to "Think Differently"???

Breix - April 28, 2012 at 7:41pm
Yeah what happened to "Think Differently".. I'm no Apple, Android or Windows Phone fan, my only concern is if it works great and cool? I'm gonna have it. iPhone Android or WP? Whatever works man.

I know many people who have had nothing but problems with their iphones so it's not all rosy in that camp. Personally I find the iphone boring and far prefer Android and all of its flexibility. However I would like to give windows phones a try.

You can compare a windows phone to an android phone buy not an iPhone. Windows phone could be beautiful but what sense does it make if you buy a phone for it's beauty and it breaks just in months. Invest your money wisely. Durability counts. It's iPhone all the way.

If durability counts then go for Nokia. You still can see 15 year Nokia working like when they were new. How many Original iPhones you see around you - or 3G, or 3GS.. the life of iPhone is very short.

That's not even a fair comparison. Look at the capabilities of phones now compared to 15 years ago. And I'm pretty sure 3G's and 3GS's go away because of broken screens and upgrades.

Durable?? The naked iPhone is made of freaking GLASS on both the front and back. Yeah it looks nice but I wouldn't not rate it as durable lol.

I'm sure he is talking about durability of the hardware. If you are clumsy enough to drop an iphone (or any smartphone for that matter) made of glass and the glass breaks, don't blame the phone. You can also incase it in one of the ubiquitous cases sold all over the web if you like dropping it.

Durability .....iphone all the way ,,,,, yeah glass on the back is great ......

My first generation iPhone still works fine, it's not the life people just want the newer technology.
Goodforyou
Goodforyou - April 29, 2012 at 3:26pm
It may work, but it doesnt support the latest firmware and definitly dont run all the newer apps. So, i dont think ita just a matter of choice o wanting new things. It's just "not an Iphone" anymore.
