Step Seven You disk will now be repartitioned to remove the Windows volume.

Mine doesn't let me continue to remove stuff.
it says: "The startup disk must be formatted as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume or already partitioned by Boot Camp Assistant for installing Windows."
I'm stuck...
The problem with this method are when you restart your Macbook, it will not load your default Mac OS X, but prompt an black screen error message : "No bootable device - insert boot disk and press any key". Any bright ideas to resolve this problem, guy out there if any???
When I try to launch it it says "The application “Boot Camp Assistant” can’t be opened". I don't know how to proceed. Any suggestions and or links recommendations on a expert to seek?-Megan

in step 3 there is no option of remove window 7 ....only two options one for window support software and one for using mac disk......what i do ireally want to get rid of window 7
Be careful! If you have installed VM Ware or Parallels tools onto your boot camp, be sure to uninstall the tools on windows before removing the partition. I learned the hard way that when you don't you can't get the space back or use it for a boot camp partiton again until you re-format the entire hard drive.
Is there any risk when doing this of deleting things on the mac hardrive. I am completely out of space on my mac platform and want to do this but I'm not very tech savy and want to make sure I don't make a mistake
Aaand, see to it that you have > 10 Gb of space on your hard drive before running this.
Otherwise the last part where the disk is to be combined into its full size will fail.
