Article says no cutting of sim required but the video clearly shows the sim corner was cut for the gevey chip just like the original.

Honestlty I believe MuscleNerd is behind this exploit. Think about it he hasnt mentioned any word about unlocks for "ages". And all of the sudden out comes a company that not much know about an releases a full unlock? Just imagine MuscleNerd might be making millions right now :o.

MOTHER OF GOD $55 for something that will, most likely, stop working when 5.1 changes the base-band. I guess that is why they are selling them for $55 because once 5.1 gets here, they are no longer going to be able to sell these. BTW, if your phone crashes, you will be forced to go to 5.1 (when it is released) so even if you have it working fine on 5.0.1 you will lose unlock if your phone gets stuck on apple logo and you need to restore. NEXT TIME DONT BE A CHEAP@SS AND BUY FACTORY UNLOCKED LIKE I DID.

Well first of all this company has previously unlocked most iPhone 4 basebands. The exploit seems to be always their. And as for your iPhone 4s there is no way you can make it crash to the point wich u see the connect to iTunes when it is not jailbroken. It is possible to crash it when the phone is jailbroken and if that happens you can restore and downgrade or exit recovery mode.

If you use a NO_BB .ipsw when you restore your iPhone 4 you will always preserve your baseband when restoring via pwned DFU mode, but I agree the $800.31 for my white 32gb factory unlocked 4S was definitely worth it

Yes, you can have the iPhone crash randomly. It has happened to me not only installing things from Cydia, but just by using a random app or rebooting. It is VERY rare, but it does happen

About NO_BB updating, yes that works for the iPhone 4 because the Jailbreak exploit found for it was boot rom level. This Gevey is for the 4S and there is no such exploit for it. It is IMPOSSIBLE to update and preserve baseband on 4S devices. So yeah, good luck living with your device afraid if it will pass the apple logo to those ppl not getting FUL phones.

Probably Dev-Team will be able to create a custom fw for iPh4 including an 4S baseband such as 1.01.3 just like the one used for ipad on iPhone 3G and this way we may be able to unlock whit gevey ultra S

good day, I live in Brazil, bought a iphone 4S in the United States and I can not activate the iphone 4S in Brazil, my carrier TIM in Brazil, I can not do anything when it comes in the activation of the itunes screen, wait 3 minutes and error happens activation in this chip gevey, I can activate my iphone 4s and unlock to use my carrier TIM. That's a piece of shi****t!!! It also said it work in canada and I can tell you that it dont!!! I'm so angry about it!!!! Maybee because it say on my iphone that it's unlock and then it crash to activation screen!!!! F***k gevey!!!!!!!! You lost me for ever!!!
