The ChinaSnow development team claims to have created a SIM interposer solution called TPSIM which can unlock the iPhone 4S on basebands 1.0.11, 1.0.13, and 1.0.14.
The solution is said to be similar to the Gevey SIM and is demonstrated in the video below. It also works on iPhone 4 baseband 1.59.00, 2.10.04, 3.10.01 and 4.10.01. Unfortunately 4.11.08 is NOT supported.
Features: ● No jailbreak required, insert and go! ● *No need to dial 112 (after the first time initialization) ● Supports 3G, EDGE, MMS, Facetime ● Supports iPhone 4S baseband 1.0.11, 1.0.13 and 1.0.14. ● Supports iPhone 4 baseband 1.59.00, 2.10.04, 3.10.01, 4.10.01 but NOT 4.11.08 ● No hardware alteration or modification required will not affect your warranty ● Robust and sturdy steel custom SIM tray ● Unlocks ALL worldwide networks ● Uses high performance original F981 chip for ultra-low voltage operation
The TPSIM can be pre-ordered from the link below for $84.95. We would recommend that you wait for confirmation of authenticity before ordering.

This stuff works, I didn't mind wasting a few bucks to test it, I paid $40.00 free shipping from a US dealer, I bought the Sprint iPhone 4s since it was just laying around... Used my AT&T sim card and guess what? Didn't work LOL but I am like let me try it with a T-mobile sim and bang it worked... To bad it didn't work with my AT&T sim, maybe it does work because where I live there is no AT&T signal to bad about that.. Will test it tomorrow where I get full AT&T bars...

OVER priced.
Hear this merely a REVENUE maker for Swagg Securities.
Not buy this HOAX.
That's got to be the noisiest autofocus on an SLR I have ever heard.
Definitely not a PRO filming.

I don't understand how there isn't a unlock yet. Musclenerd tweeted back in November a promising unclock was coming.. So where is it? Also shouldn't it just be possible to get a ipsw from another country that is already unlocked and just modify a few things to make it work in the US? I'm by far no hacker and don't have a clue to how shit works but it seems like Musclenerd and such folks are just holding out on us.

How can we see that the iphone is not factory unlocked? He should put the same sim card whitout the TPSIM so we can see that the phone rejects the sim card.

Took long enough but many developers don't support these types of unlocks. Ex: pod2g
