Fring has already been hacked to allow VoIP / Skype voice calls over the 3G network, according a post on their forums.
Well... Try this patch of magnificient fring. You should uninstall previously installed fring, download the file, click twice, iTunes will get it and during the Sync will install it to iPhone as usual. This should allow for all around the world 3G community to make and receive voice calls via any type of internet connection: WiFi, EDGE, 3G. PS I know, it's impudent (a little bit to post a link to patch on developers board, but, I think they deserve it (and WANT it) because of suckin apple sdk rules. Dev team must obey the rules... and I am not. Enjoy!

The reason why it is not letting you sync is because you were not the original one to purchase it. It is as if you took someone's bought app and pasted it to your iTunes. It would not work right, just like it is not working right now, even if Fring is free.

I installed fring on 2G with Tmobile Tzones edge. It does not connect? anyone knows why? is it because of tzones hack?

Installed through iTunes and ssh /Applications, no login just spins endlessly
Call button for SIP & Skype Out remain dim.... What am i missing here? Any advice?

Okay thx! But the thing is: I can´t install Fring from iTunes anymore!? Even if delete ALL from var/mobile/Application! The app is in iTunes and check´d for sync. All other apps sync well but Fring doesn´t!? So my question is Why???

Even if unistall and reinstall the "original" Fring from AppStore the Fring.app crash back to SB!!?? :-( What´s up??
