iPad 3 codenames and Facebook references have been found in the latest iOS 5.1 beta, reports iMore.
Deep within iOS 5.1 beta 3 are mentions to two next-generation iPad 3 code names, J1AP and J2AP, as well as ongoing references to Facebook. While digging through firmware code is not a sure fire way of finding out exactly Apple is up to - it has in the past yielded some results.
The J1 and J2 codenames were first identified by DigiTimes. They said the J2 project appears to be an upgraded version of the J1; however, its unclear if the J2 is simply the 3G model or if there are additional differences.
9to5Mac previously found a reference to the J2 codename which adds more weight to this report.
It has long been rumored that Apple wanted to integrate Facebook into iOS; however, the unstable relationship between the two companies makes the future uncertain. References were previously found to Facebook but nothing materialized.
I see some situation you mention, but this Fb could be different & engineer already on top of it,beside (if im not correct) what I remember Geo Hotz is on board
Facebook wouldn't surprise me one bit.
It's already rampant with the ever annoying facebook connect in apps. I can't stand some of them require it to connect to other players and ask far too often if you'd like to post your high score, achievement, etc.
It's the worst.
