39% of Photos on Twitter Are Posted From iOS

Skylines analyzed over 24 million photos that were posted to Twitter last week and found that 39% of those photos were posted from iOS.
Apple launched iOS5 on October 12. A little over two weeks later, iOS' new photo clients together ('Photos on iOS' and 'Camera on iOS') have already become the 7th biggest Twitter client for photo sharing (over 5% share).
Highlights:
● Twitter for iPhone is the most popular Twitter client for sharing photos, responsible for 21 percent of all pictures posted to Twitter, followed by Twitters website (17%) and Instagram (12%).
● Photos uploaded to Twitter's own photoservice are mostly shared using Twitter for iPhone (42%). The most popular client for yfrog photos is Twitter for Blackberry (47%), whereas on Twitpic the platform used most is Android (39% Twitter for Android).
Looking at the chart below you can see that 21% of Twitter photos are posted from Twitter for iPhone, 13% are from Instagram for iPhone, and 5% are directly from iOS 5, which combines for a total of 39%.
