Apple is already working on Mac OS X 10.8, the next generation of its popular operating system, reports MacRumors. The site has found evidence of the new OS in its web logs.
While Apple has yet to announce plans for the next major version of OS X, evidence of 10.8 first began appearing in our web logs in August, and have since accelerated. This graph shows an increasing number of web visits from Mac OS X 10.8 users over the past several months.
The site also questions what Apple might name the new OS; since "Lion" seems to be the end line for the cat names. The company's previously trademarked "Lynx" and "Cougar" names have been abandoned.
What do you think Apple will call its next operating system?
They will probably call it pile o rubbish, because after Snow Leopard the Mac OS is becoming more and more awkward to work with. Personally I hate mission control and launchpad is just introduced to bridge the gap between IOS and Mac users. They need some serious new revolutionary features. Maybe look at some of the GUI advancements made in Compiz Fusion and the use of Kinect-like 3d gestures.
Well, You don't have to use those features. And this "tactics of spitting" is already seen before. When SL came out, some people were spitting and start talking like Lepard is much better etc... Same story, new s***
Hyena? rough and ready little critter!
interesting that that web page is logging what OS is being used to access the site ... what else are they logging!
