Al Gore Confirms 'New iPhones Coming Out Next Month'

Apple board member and former Vice President Al Gore has confirmed that new iPhones will be released next month, reports TNW.

At the Discovery Invest Leadership Summit today, Gore was quoted as saying, "Not to mention the new iPhones coming out next month. That was a plug."

Although Gore's statement was plural its unclear if he was referring to multiple iPhone models.

Apple is expected to announce the iPhone on October 4th.

WOW, some award winningly moronic comments in this thread. I'm no huge Al Gore fan but don't you guys know that Apple fans are supposed to be liberal intellectual's. :) Oh and Global Warming is real, no matter how right wing you are, scientific facts are still facts.

HAHAHAHA facts are facts??? Depends which scientists you want to listen to. As far as global warming... could be, but it is a natural occurence not a human factor. Feel free to keep listening to science fiction though. I'm sure Al Gore and the rest appreciate the extra $$$ in their bank accounts.

Could be "... the new iPhone's (as in "the new iPhone is") coming out next month..." meaning only one. Depends if it was spoken or typed :-)

Not necessarily. What he said makes perfect sense with or without the apostrophe, but the number of iPhones releasing will depend on whether a stenographer typed out what he said or whether he typed it, because in speech one can't differentiate in such an ambiguous sentence.
