Wireless Sync coming to the iPhone?

Wireless Sync coming to the iPhone?

Posted August 9, 2008 at 1:17am by iClarified
We have just received an email with information from the 2.0 iPhone firmware. A private framework has been spotted by the name of "Wireless Sync." This is not confirmed, but may be coming up soon, since they already have the code written.

iSchmaves-sPhone:/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks root# ls
..... MobileSync.framework/ JavaScriptCore.framework/ MobileWirelessSync.framework/ WebKit.framework/

Thaks to iSchmave for this find!

Big deal.. Linux has this already via SSH. Works well too.. that is of course, if you want to manual sync everything.. Nice to see Apple catching up to third-party use of it's own hardware. ;)

Works already, with sshfs. Seems like another one of those features that should have been in the original release but just... wasn't...
