iTunes 11 to Get Completely Different UI, Better iCloud Integration?

iTunes 11 will reportedly be a major update to the application bringing a completely different UI and better iCloud integration, according to iDB.

From what we're hearing, the UI would be much more cleaner and "slick." iCloud is also going to be more closely integrated with iTunes. Rather than the iTunes Store being essentially a web browser, the Store will actually be integrated into the entire app- much like Spotify is currently.

We're also hearing that iCloud backups will be integrated into iTunes. This means if you back up your iDevice to iCloud, that same backup will be stored locally on your computer. Also, app data from iCloud will be synced closely with iTunes. For example, if you beat a level in Angry Birds, that level data will be synced to iCloud and then to your iTunes library.

The source of this information is not mentioned by iDB; however, it makes sense for Apple to integrate its new iCloud service into iTunes as much as possible.

How about apple sort out their multiple acct non integration and stop claiming that I have 21 apps that aren't authorised to sync when ALL them apps (even iDisk ffs!) are on MY ACCT! Man ITunes is freaking pissing me right off :@ somehow on " old" iTunes all syncing went swimmingly now 10.4 throws a hisy fit :@

While backend changes may be necessary to improve integration with new services, systems, etc., (and small changes may be done to clean-up sone of the functionality (like a better presentation of the iTunes Store for example), I think that at some point we must accept that software has reached its 'best' design and that no further changes are necessary. Lets hope that the beloved Apple doesn't go down the route to begin making radical changes to things just to make them.

iTunes, being a simple mp3 library oriented player with iTunes store integrated is now serving a sync app, ringtones storwge, ebooks storage, video storage, ebook store, podcast software,.... Reached best design? More like best overkill.
