Apple Stores Receive Gold Master of Mac OS X Lion

Apple Retail stores have begun receiving final copies of Mac OS X Lion, according to MacRumors.

The installations have come on hard drive and are meant for the Apple Retail demo computers on the store floor. This, of course, doesn't guarantee a specific launch date, but brings Apple one step closer to launch.

Earlier today, AppleInsider reported that Apple will likely release Mac OS X Lion and new MacBook Airs on Wednesday. The WSJ also predicts that new MacBook Airs are coming this week.

So this truly means the GM RELEASED was "it"? Will I have to update my GM release once Lion is officially released?
