Another person has shamelessly leaked Comex's unfinished jailbreak of the iPad 2. This time its Ryan Vanniekerk who managed to find the files after Comex had moved them to a different location on his server.
Since these files are unfinished, buggy, and stolen from Comex we had not planned to publish the story; however, other iPhone related sites have been posting about Vanniekerk's how to. We've been told that these beta jailbreaks could do permanent damage to your device and thus we strongly recommend users do not attempt this jailbreak and wait for the official release which is expected soon.
As we noted earlier you can follow us on Twitter and Facebook for updates using the links at the bottom of the page.

Great idea here, lets jack comex's site, share the unfinished files and mess with the community...if I were comex, I'd say to hell with all of you and just stop working on a jailbreak. Real smart.
That, or to make jailbreak for dev team only (MuscleNerd and others/trusted fellas) and to mess with all other people (making videos etc...but not releasing tool for good!
STOP using the word "steal" to define copying software.
When something is stolen, there's intent to deprive the owner of it.
Copying software DOES NOT DEPRIVE THE OWNER OF THE SOFTWARE ITSELF.
Comex still has the jailbreak.
DRAMA QUEENS
People like this ruin it for everyone. All this is gonna do is make hard working devs like comex stop developing jailbreaks for us. I wouldnt be surprised if he just decided not to release it after all this
You do realize this is not his "trade". This is not his job nor profession. He can drop everything right now and it wouldn't hurt him one bit. The fact that you think he NEEDS to do this in spite being constantly harassed and having his code stolen is the dumbest thing I've ever heard...
Maybe that's true for some people, but not all. I pay for every app, the only reason I jailbreak is to get the functionality that Apple doesn't have yet. I pay for everything, even the jailbreak apps that I use. Just because people are jailbreaking doesn't mean they're stealing, so stop putting everyone that jailbreaks in the same boat.
Hmmm...I look at my installed app list, and I've spent almost a $100 on jailbroken apps...And apps from the appstore...$0 because most appstore apps suck.
