Saurik has announced that he has greatly reduced response times for requests to Cydia.

Just switched Cydia's www over to the new "CDN->ELB" stack I've been building: requests to / from my apartment are down from 0.45s to 0.25s!

Rock sucked. Who wants a program that leeches itself to other packages fir installation? It was like an ask.com toolbar installing with freeware. Though nothing on rock was free. Plus the code was unstable which is why so many people got screwed in such short lifetime not from repos or packages but from rock itself. Good riddance. Give me a stable program over that trash anytime.

Cydia store itself is free and many of the APPs and tweaks are free as well
