it's about time Verizon experience a line. after all the Droids and copycats. A line. Behold! Everyone wants a iPhone. People just can't admit it.
Tip for Verizon:
The line will get longer.

There is no value of any CDMA cell phone compared to GSM.

They might not be existing vzw customers, so the pre-order might not have been available to them. i'm still not saying they aren't idiots for camping out 5 days in advanced, just that they may have a defense for not pre-ordering.

I came nearly 2 hour after the store had opened and still got my iPhone 4 on release day :P
But the dude in front of the guy in front of me bought the last 32 GB so I had to settle with the 16 GB :P

I went on AT&T's in store launch day and got there 1 hour before and the same thing happened to me. The cool thing about the manager at my store, was that he gave me a temporary 16GB iPhone 4 to use until another 32GB one came in, then all I had to do was swap it out and they didn't charge me a return fee, all I had to pay was the $100 difference. I hope the next iPhone they come out with has 64GB, because 32GB is not enough, especially with HD video recording taking up so much space.

Yeah I noticed that, I'm guessing apple wouldn't allow them to put that info on an app available through them lol
