Facebook Adds Facial Recognition to Photo Tagging

Facebook has announced that they will be rolling out a new facial recognition feature similar to iPhoto's, starting next week, according to TechCrunch.

The new feature, Tag Suggestions, will group similar faces together and automatically suggest which friend should be tagged in the photos.

Facebook Vice President of Product Chris Cox says the product utilizes technology that was built in-house, as well as some technology that came from partners.

Had this feature on mine for a good month now... thought it was already out?? Unless i've been given beta access somehow

It kinda was out, it just asks who this person is on the top right of the site. where the sidebar is,.
