UltraSn0w Fully Working on iOS 4.2.1

MuscleNerd has announced that UltraSn0w is now fully working on iOS 4.2.1

Finally got ultrasn0w working fully on 4.2.1. Apple inadvertently(!) broke ultrasn0w via aggressive compiler optimization

MuscleNerd previously announced that the UltraSn0w unlock should be available by Sunday for the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. The unlock for the iPhone 4 will take some more time.

Im trying to jb a 3gs nw 4.2.1 with redsnow but it seems redsnow has a problem ´cause it stops working and iphone stucks on "DOWNLOADING JAILBREAK DATA... " can somebody help?

just tried it on 3G.... new redsn0w jailbreaks 4.2.1 successfully, but ultrasn0w 1.1-1 does NOT successfully unlock 4.2.1 @ baseband 05.15.04 :( Is there a new cydia source for the new ultrasn0w???

Because 1.1-1 is for 4.0.2 and below. The new ultrasn0w hasn't been released yet. They are just saying it works.

People should check the Cydia package description and read the article carefully. It didn't state the release would happen exactly when the date turned to the 28th.

Please read the post carefully; it explains the compatibility for baseband 5.14.

In a few days, the unlock for baseband 05.10.14 should be available.

Cool, But i did not get one thing. Why in the screen shot it shows T-Mobile on the top, but AT&T in the carrier option?

Because "carrier option" are the settings for the network, settings like mms and etc...

it's jailbroken iphone. with makeitmine app you can get it to say whatever.

The dev-team are the greatest people in the world. They do all these work for free. You are not paying for their work, you don't have the right to complaint about and curse at them. If you are tired of waiting, why don't you make a unlock for your iPhone by yourself. Remember, they are not here doing all these work just for you.

I'm waiting till the 4.2.1 to be released.as I know it's supposed to enable to unlock iPhone 4.1 with BB 2.10.04 in November ? and there is no evidence to confirm that

in first post you said when the 4.1 baseband 2.10 unlock is coming out. and if you read the post you'll know that 3g and 3gs unlock will be released on sun for even new baseband that's included in firmware 4.2.1. and for iphone 4 will take more time and since 2.10 baseband unlock is not released yet i think that's what they will be releasing and again that will take MORE TIME. the post didn't say in november

The iPhone 4 "needs some further work on the unlock" open ur eyes and read so be a bit patient and u will be unlocked as well but as everybody else that have an iPhone 4 need to anticipate a bit longer for an unlock, Thanks a lot dev- team for ur work u guys are the best of the best :)

You should check your baseband version before updating. The iPhone Dev-Team provides these tools for free.
