FaceTime Video Calling Enabled on the iPhone 3GS

iPhoneIslam has managed to successfully enable FaceTime video calling on the iPhone 3GS.

iTarek, founder of the site, tweeted the news an hour ago...

Allah Akber, We made the camera works on 3GS for FaceTime call. This is amazing. Can you imagine full FaceTime people on 3GS...

Yesterday the site posted a video demonstrating FaceTime audio only capabilities. You can watch this video below.

How about Tmobile USA unlocked 3Gs on 4.1? I'm stuck on waiting to activate! Mitime is not working for me either

You need to use the FaceTime hacktivator if you are on an unofficial carrier like T-Mobile

i did, it was still saying waiting to activate and did not work. could it be cause i'm 4.1?

Well i have 3gs and unlocked. i followed the steps and i can't activate facetime for tmobile USA it is stuck on waiting to activate!

He clearly states towards the end of the video that right now there is no way to incorporate the 3GS camera into facetime. That's hardly what i would call "full facetime" as your write-up claims.

@Lurizzle Not to rehash this posting for those that can read but.... If you read the whole write up, you will notice they state that the video was posted Yesterday, when only audio was working. The first part states that Today, iTarek, tweeted that the video capability is now working. So the synopsis, video yesterday, audio only tweet today, video now working

"That's hardly what i would call "full facetime" as your write-up claims." You need to learn how to read properly! He said in his Tweet "We made the camera works on 3GS for FaceTime call." He also said this video had been posted yesterday, and he clearly stated that the camera wasn't working at THAT time. Again, according to the Tweet, today, a day after the video was made, the camera is working now. Did you even read the first sentence where it says that he enabled FaceTime "video?"
