BatchOutput Server 4.6 Released for InDesign

Zevrix Solutions has announced the release of BatchOutput Server 4.6, a feature update to its powerful output workflow automation solution for Adobe InDesign. BatchOutput Server completely automates InDesign output workflow by processing files from hotfolders. The software offloads printing and exporting to PDF and PostScript to a central system leaving operator workstations free from the output process.

The new version can automatically write error logs to a text file which is saved in hotfolders along with the processed InDesign documents. It helps users access the error info directly from their workstations.

BatchOutput Server runs on a standalone Macintosh system that has InDesign installed. Production artists and prepress operators simply submit InDesign files to the hotfolders. BatchOutput Server automatically outputs the files from its dedicated station, and will auto-activate document fonts as well. The workflow also ensures that correct output settings will be always used.
