Motorola Takes Another Jab at the iPhone

Motorola has taken out yet another full page ad in the New York Times, this time making fun of the iPhone's lack of Flash.

The ad reads: "Flash Websites? There's a phone for that. Introducing the new Droid 2 by Motorola."

This is obviously a play on the "There's an App for that" slogan used by Apple.

Previous ads by Motorola mocked the iPhone 4 signal problems and free case program.

Very well said, Boywonda, I completely agree with you. Hell, I remember my first cellphone, it was nowhere near as small as the one I have now, no camera, no color screen, big open buttons, and the antenna would jab me in the abdominals every time I sat down hahaha. The great thing about having no features on your phone though, is that you don't spend too much of your time on it, these new smartphones eat up people's spare time like nobodies business..

Well, if you look. or go to the apple store to buy your iPhone... they offer classes on how to use that too..... Its no different....

what people should ask themselves are, "why do i need Flash?". 90% of Internets Flash content is advertising. Who likes ads? There are better games in Appstore then the Flash games on net. iPhone has youTube support. I don't want or need flash...

yeah but flash is laggy as Fack!.. . iphone rules anyway ... people are so stuck up =/ thats why i love apple.. . look at the whole company and show me a product that isnt 100% just pure quality ...

How bout the G4 cubes that caught fire, or the g3 powerbook power adapters that caught fire. Or iPod nanos that burst into flames, or the powermac g5 that overheats, or the ipod video thats headphone port goes out, or any of the laptop computers that scald your legs. Apple has a problem with heat...so before you talk about 100% quality, maybe you should take a look at the history.....

yeah, and what about it? i have iphone 4 since june - no problems whatsoever! it holds network better than my previous 3gs and never mind all other stuff which is far more better than other mobile makers can do.

may be you better look at statistics what is percentage of dead laptops/desktops from other companies after 2-3 years and compare with apple ones. i know a lot people who are using 4-5 year old laptops and desktops and not thinking about getting new one. look at any other laptop after 4-5 years usage! they simply look like crap + keep in mind all viruses/malware/spyware/crapware etc etc etc problems!

yeah, and battery then lasts for 15 minutes. flash is crap. so you need a crappy phone to look at it.

Please be honest.. There are few flaws on the iphone to make a perfect phone.. I am iphone lover but I have to move to the Samsung Vibrant due 3G frequency.. I love Android UI but I love the iphone form factor but overall iphone still beat cel in the market..
