Apple has announced its most popular podcasts of 2025, releasing a new set of year-end charts that showcase the shows and creators that captured listeners this year. The Top Charts of 2025 are localized for markets around the world, offering both a global and regional look at the biggest trends in podcasting.
Listeners can explore the full collection of 2025 charts now through the end of the year directly on the New tab of the Apple Podcasts app. The charts provide multiple views into the year's biggest hits, including the most popular shows based on listenership, the biggest breakout hits of 2025, and the podcasts that gained the most followers. Apple also released charts for the most shared shows and the most popular channels.
In addition to the data-driven charts, listeners in over 15 markets can discover the Best Shows of 2025, a specially curated collection of standout podcasts that resonated with Apple's editorial team this year. The celebration of this year's best shows will culminate with the announcement of the Apple Podcasts Show of the Year, which will be revealed on Thursday, December 4.
In the U.S., the list of Top Shows includes The Joe Rogan Experience, The Daily, The Mel Robbins Podcast, Crime Junkie, and Dateline NBC. The biggest breakout hits on the Top New Shows chart were Good Hang with Amy Poehler, Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce, and Deadly Mirage. For Top Series, listeners tuned into The Telepathy Tapes, The Binge Cases, and Deadly Mirage.
The most popular individual episodes of the year were also revealed. The Top Episodes chart was led by The Telepathy Tapes: "Unveiling the Hidden World of Telepathic Communication in a Silenced Community," followed by Crime Junkie: "MURDERED: The Feeney Family," and New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce: "The Taylor Swift Episode."
Apple also tracked which podcasts were shared most frequently. The Most Shared Shows chart was topped by The Telepathy Tapes, The Mel Robbins Podcast, Sold a Story, Blink | Jake Haendel's Story, and The Bible in a Year. For Most Followed Shows, the list includes The Mel Robbins Podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, and Good Hang with Amy Poehler.
Rounding out the charts, the Top Subscriber Shows list features The Daily, Apple News+ Narrated, and The Ezra Klein Show. The Top Channels chart was led by SiriusXM Podcasts, Wondery, iHeartPodcasts, and The New York Times.
