Apple has introduced a new embeddable web widget for Apple Music that can be used to play songs, albums, and playlists.
The widget can be found on the Apple Music Marketing Tools page. It can be customized with a width, height, and playlist. At top right of the widget, Apple Music users can sign in for access to full songs. If you aren't signed in, the widget will let you play previews.
It's speculated that Apple could be working towards a full scale web client that would allow users to access their Library, similar to Spotify.
But Spotify has a free version making it easy for the viewer of the site to access the playlist even he’s not a paying customer. In Apple Music, you can’t enjoy it just by listening to previews unless you are a paying customer to access the songs in the playlist. Score: Spotify - 1, Apple Music - 0.
