The new OLED display on the Samsung Galaxy S9 is the best smartphone display ever tested, according to lab analysis from DisplayMate.

The company notes that the Galaxy S9 delivers consistent Top Tier display performance and is the first display to receive All Green ratings in all of its lab test and measurement categories.

● Highest Peak Display Brightness (1,130 nits).
● Largest Native Color Gamut (113% DCI-P3 and 141% sRGB / Rec.709).
● Highest Contrast Ratio (Infinite).
● Lowest Screen Reflectance (4.4 percent).
● Highest Contrast Rating in Ambient Light (257).
● Smallest Brightness Variation with Viewing Angle (29 percent at 30 degrees).

I love my iPhone but Samsung did bring better displays way before they started using OLEDs which do some from Samsung. iPhone still rules because it doesn’t lag with 5 future iOS updates. Samsung witch runs corny android lags your phone in 2 years.

Yeah that’s why Apple makes More money than Samsung and has far higher customer satisfaction ratings. Your forgetting Samsung sells dozens of phone models and Apple only a handful yet the two companies still get compared.

Samsung is a supplier for Apple, THEY SUPPLY WHAT APPLE ASKS, SAMSUNG MAKES DISPLAYS ACCORDING TO APPLE'S INSTRUCTIONS. What Samsung does on it's own is a different matter.

It'll be a disaster if they couldn't come up with a better screen for their own handset... added to the fact that the iPhone X has been around for 3 months. Not worth it cuz android... ugh, enough to scare me away. Lmao them bezels, made me puke.

Not bad Samsung. All apple need to do now is design a new OLED. Tell Samsung to build it for them and put it in the next phone. And good chance iPhone takes top. It’s endless. They’ll always trade places when their new models come
