Apple has released macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 beta 5 to developers for testing. The build number is 17C83a.

macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 brings Introductory Pricing for Auto-Renewable Subscriptions and some new Device Management features.

Soon, you’ll be able to offer new customers a discounted introductory price for your auto-renewable subscriptions on the App Store. macOS 10.13.2 introduces new classes (SKProductDiscount and SKProductSubscriptionPeriod) and new properties on SKProduct (subscriptionPeriod and introductoryPrice) to provide details on the introductory pricing and billing period you’ve selected for your auto-renewable subscriptions. You can use these new API additions to localize and display information about introductory pricing to your users. You’ll be able to configure introductory pricing on your in-app purchase page in iTunes Connect soon.

Device Management: New Features
• Added the Kernel Extension Policy payload. For more information, see the Configuration Profile Reference.
• Added the enforceSmartCard key to the SmartCard settings payload. The default value is false. A value of true requires users to log in using a SmartCard.
• Added the ManagementStatus dictionary to the SecurityInfo response dictionary. The new dictionary contains two keys, EnrolledViaDEP is true if the device was enrolled in MDM using DEP, and UserApprovedEnrollment is true if the user approved enrolling the device in MDM. If UserApprovedEnrollment is false, the client may reject certain security-sensitive payloads or commands.

Installing macOS 10.13.2
● Back up your Mac.
Always back up your data and files before installing beta versions of macOS. If you have
multiple Mac computers, we strongly recommend installing on a secondary system. Backing up
files on a Mac is easy with Time Machine, the built-in backup utility.

● Enroll Your Mac in the Apple Developer Program
Download the macOS Developer Beta Access Utility from developer.apple.com and run the installer. Follow the onscreen instructions to enroll your Mac.

To check if your Mac is enrolled in the Apple Beta Software Program, open the App Store pane in System Preferences for the Mac App Store. If your Mac is enrolled, the message “Your computer is set to receive beta software update” is shown

● Install the macOS Developer Beta
After completing enrollment, install the developer beta from Updates in the Mac App Store. If there is not a developer beta available, you will receive a notification from the Mac App Store when it is released.

● Stop receiving beta updates
To stop receiving macOS beta updates:
1. Open the App Store pane in System Preferences.
2. Click on the Change button next to “Your computer is set to receive beta software updates”.
3. In the dialog that appears, click on Do Not Show Beta Software Updates.

Developers can download the Beta Access Utility from the link below. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.
