You Can Now Use Alexa to Play Spotify Music on Your Sonos Speakers

Sonos has rolled out the ability to play music from Spotify on its speakers using Amazon Alexa, confirms The Verge.
To enable this feature users must select Spotify as the preferred music service inside the Alexa app. Alexa can then be told to play songs, albums, artists, and playlists from Spotify.
The update is an improvement to the Sonos One smart speaker which features integrated Alexa; as well as, upcoming support for Google Assistant and AirPlay 2. Previously, you had to start playback from the Sonos or Spotify app.
The new feature can also be used by owners of Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, and other Alexa devices to launch playback of Spotify music on their Sonos speakers.
If you're interested in purchasing a new Sonos speaker we'd recommend holding off until Black Friday when Sonos will discount its Play:1 and Play:3 ($50 off), Playbase and Playbar ($100 off), and Sonos One ($25 off) speakers.
