Shipping estimates for the new iPhone X have slipped to 5-6 weeks in the U.S. and Canada following the launch of pre-orders last night. The first batch of iPhones were sold out within 30 minutes!
Unfortunately, shipping estimates have already been pushed back four times moving from November 3rd to 1-2 weeks, to 2-3 weeks, then 4-5 weeks, and now 5-6 weeks. If it pushes back any further there could be a risk of not receiving the device before the holidays.
Right now your best chance of getting an iPhone X earlier is to either check with your local carrier or local Best Buy. You can also get ready to lineup at a local Apple Store. The company has announced that there will be iPhone X units available for walk-in customers on release day.
We were able to get our pre-order in by 12:03am PDT this morning for a Nov 3rd delivery. Were you so lucky? Let us know how it went in the comments!!

Ordered me and my wife’s phones through T-Mobile at 2:54am EST... I ordered 2 64gb models because the 256gb ones are just too expensive. The lady on the phone said that I was the first call! Cant wait until next Friday!!!!
It took 10 minutes after the 12:00 am start before I could get into the Apple store. So I ended up with nov 17-24. I dunno how people managed to get in there earlier. Never had luck with these preorders. Always have the delivery date slip weeks later because the store wouldn’t let me in right away.
I was up at 2:45 eastern time and ordered on Verizon. My estimated arrival date is November 15!! I’m just happy I was able to get the order in and now will wait on pins and needles!! This will be the first time I’ve skipped an iPhone (the iPhone 8) but I am thrilled to get the latest and greatest!!
