Apple CEO Tim Cook has reportedly replied to a customer email questioning the future of the Mac mini, reports MacRumors.
Reader Krar sent Cook the following question:
-----
Hi Tim
I love the Mac Mini but it's been over 3 years now without an update.
Are we going to see anything in pipeline anytime soon ?
Thanks
-----
To which Cook reportedly replied:
-----
Krar,
I'm glad you love Mac mini. We love it too. Our customers have found so many creative and interesting uses for Mac mini. While it is not time to share any details, we do plan for Mac mini to be an important part of our product line going forward.
Best,
Tim

It appears unlikely that Apple will introduce a new Mac mini device this year based on Cook's email and how close it is to the holiday shopping season already. However, we're hopeful that an update is coming.
