Apple has released iOS 11.0.3 bringing a fix for audio and haptic feedback issues and an issue where touch input stopped working on non-genuine displays.
iOS 11.0.3 includes bug fixes for your iPhone or iPad.
This update: ● Fixes an issue where audio and haptic feedback would not work on some iPhone 7 and 7 Plus devices. ● Addresses an issue where touch input was unresponsive on some iPhone 6s displays because they were not serviced with genuine Apple parts.
Apple says, "Non-genuine replacement displays may have compromised visual quality and may fail to work correctly. Apple-certified screen repairs are performed by trusted experts who use genuine Apple parts. See support.apple.com for more information."
Maybe possible but man, people been using third party screens for what ? At least 4 gens. Um maybe an excuse. Supposedly 11.1 bringing back our side 3D Touch task switcher function. Guys, keep complaining or constructive criticism. Let’s make the iPhone back to normal. Come on Apple. Control center back to normal please. No more sneaky practices please.
Yeah! Haven’t seen any public statements since the veto of the Right to Repair Act. Kinda sad that never came to fruition as I think small repair companies should have the right to run their own repair center with access to schematics and genuine hardware that doesn’t come from China.
