New Apple TV 4K Gains Gigabit Ethernet Port, Drops USB-C Port

Alongside 4K and HDR support, the Apple TV has finally been updated with a gigabit Ethernet port. This is great new for those who prefer to have a wired connection to their router. The previous generation Apple TV only supported a 10/100 Ethernet connection.
Notably, the new Apple TV 4K no longer has a USB-C port. It's unclear how Apple will address this. One user on Apple's developer forums claims to have found evidence in Configurator 2.5 Beta 4 that will allow connections over Network Ports.
Pre-orders for the new Apple TV go live at 12:01 a.m. PDT on September 15th. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.
