iOS 11 Beta Prevents Automatic Joining of Weak Wi-Fi Networks

iOS 11 beta brings a new feature that prevents automatic joining of weak or flaky Wi-Fi networks. Spotted by Ryan Jones, founder of Weather Line, the feature will also prevent your device from automatically joining public hotspots.

New in iOS 11: It learns to stop connecting you to crappy WiFi! (like Whole Foods, Starbucks, airport, etc)

The Verge notes that "it also prevents the scourge that is an Xfinity hot spot from overriding your iPhone’s network connection without you noticing."

iOS 11 beta also features the ability to enable Auto-Join Wi-Fi on a per network basis. These improvements should make things easier for those who use various networks on a regular basis.

this would be unnecessary if they fix 'saved wifi' list. Those deleted / "forget this wifi" networks keeps coming back for whatever reason. No matter where you delete the wifi from your mac or iDevice, it keeps coming back.
