Apple has stopped signing iOS 10.2, meaning that downgrading or restoring to that firmware version is no longer possible.
Closure of the signing window comes shortly after a jailbreak of iOS 10.2 was released by Luca Todesco. Hopefully, you managed to jailbreak already or save your SHSH blobs as we recommended.
Currently, Apple's latest firmware is iOS 10.2.1 and developers have been seeded with iOS 10.3. If you accidentally update or restore, you'll find yourself on iOS 10.2.1.
Hopefully, saved iOS 10.2 SHSH blobs will help facilitate a downgrade to that firmware version for users who have performed a software update. Stay tuned for more details on that.
It could be quite some time before another jailbreak surfaces as Apple is switching to the APFS file system with iOS 10.3 which is likely to introduce new challenges.
Please any one can tell me how i can downgrade iphone 6, 10.2.1 to 10.2 using shsh blobs, i have already saved shsh 10.2, so it possible to downgrade my iphone?
We all knew this day was coming and had ample time to restore to iOS 10.2, saving our SHSH2 blobs accordingly. Now we need to be very careful about installed tweaks because on survival mode, one mistake and it's infinite loop.
Yeah, don't you just hate it when companies force you to buy their products. Damn, just the other day I was walking down the street and a guy jumped out of a car yard, tackled me to the ground, took the money out of my wallet, and then threw the keys to a new car at me and said "have a nice day, pleasure doing business with you"
I tried to downgrade to iOS 10.2 but it would not restore from my iCloud or set up as new iPhone. Just kept spinning at that point in the set up process. Could not find a solution online. Oh well lets hope another Jailbreak is released that is not semi-tethered. I really miss the shrink function.
