Apple Music Surpasses 20 Million Subscribers [Chart]

Apple Music has surpassed 20 million subscribers just 17 months after its launch, reports Music Business Worldwide. Apple confirmed the number to the site.

In comparison, Spotify surpassed 40 million subscribers in September and it is expected to top 50 million subscribers by February 2017. Spotify added at least 12 million subscribers in 2016 alone while Apple added about 10 million.

Note that it took Spotify seven years to reach 20 million subscribers while it has taken Apple less than two.
